Interoperability
Problem
Looking for ways to work with other agencies more effectively? Not just at a MCI (mass casualty incident) but on a daily basis when you are one ambulance too short to handle a pending emergency?
Solution
fleeteyes can take data from all the agencies to create a Common Operating Picture. Agencies can choose to let others see only their available ambulances within a certain geo-fence. This protects agencies from exposing their whole system to everyone but allows them to provide partner access to available ambulances in their respective communities.
AVL Systems
Problem
Currently your AVL system is not integrated to dispatch. Its shows the current position of a vehicle and historical bread crumbs but never shows where the truck is heading. Dispatch does not know if a particular vehicle is available, en route, or transporting. Dispatchers are always looking back and forth between AVL software and dispatch software.
Solution
fleeteyes can give you the same current functionality but enhance it by fusing your dispatch system with your AVL system. You will now see the status of that vehicle.
Field Supervisors
Problem
Currently several managers share one dispatch user license to keep their finger on the pulse of the EMS system but can only access it when they are at their desk. Field supervisors either work on a truck, with a partner, or have no MDT (mobile data terminal) in their vehicle. It's cost prohibitive to purchase laptops and software for all the supervisors. Plus they are always on the move.
Solution
fleeteyes will give managers and field supervisors enough information in the palm of their hand to effectively manage without blowing the budget.
Navigation
Problem
Dispatch is always looking up directions on Google to help crews get around. Some vehicles actually have portable navigation devices (TomTom or Garmins) but they are rarely used.
Solution
fleeteyes is fused with your dispatch system. In a few clicks dispatchers can obtain directions from the vehicle's location to the incident. Increase the usage of navigation devices. fleeteyes can wirelessly transmit the arrival location to the Tomtom navigation device.
